Dr. Huang received his BSc and PhD in Chemistry from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and he carried out his postdoctoral research at Stockholm University. In 2019, he was appointed as a researcher and group leader at Stockholm University. In 2023, he joined South China University of Technology as a Professor. Dr. Huang’s research interests have been in developing and implementing electron diffraction methods to study porous materials at atomic levels, focusing on understanding structure-property relationships, discovery of novel materials, and gaining new fundamental knowledges. Dr. Huang has received Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Crystallography (2018), Excellent Overseas Young Scientists Award Program from National Natural Science Foundation (2023) and Outstanding Young Scientists Award Program from Guangdong Natural Science Foundation (2024).
