Prof. Xiaopeng Li received a B.S. degree in chemistry in 2004 from Zhengzhou University. He obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry from Cleveland State University in 2008. He then was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Akron. In 2012, he started his independent career as Assistant Professor at Texas State University, then moved to University of South Florida in 2016, and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2019. In 2020, Dr. Li joined Shenzhen University as Tencent Founders Alumni Professor. In 2023, he moved to Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry. His major research interests include supramolecular chemistry and characterization of supramolecules/macromolecules using mass spectrometry and STM.
