Dr. Se-Ho Kim is an emerging researcher in the field of advanced characterization, currently holding the position of assistant professor at Korea University. He obtained his doctoral degree from RWTH Aachen University in 2021, graduating summa cum laude, and completed his master's at KAIST in 2018 after finishing his undergraduate studies at the UBC in 2016. Dr. Kim has served as a project and deputy group leader at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung, focusing on the microstructural evolution of steel and alloys. Recognized for his outstanding contributions to advanced microscopy, he was awarded the prestigious Müller Award. His research primarily explores the development of novel applications for extreme and sustainable materials, significantly contributing to materials characterization with over 50 published works.
