Jamie Riches heads the Microscopy Laboratory within the Central Analytical Research Facility at the Queensland University of Technology. He has over 25 years of experience in the use of electron microscopy to solve diverse research problems in materials science and life sciences. He has managed cryo electron microscopy facilities at the University of Queensland (2004-2006), and at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg (2007-2012).
