Thapanee Sarakonsri has been working at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, 50200 Thailand since 2002 after she received her PhD in Material Science and Engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, U.S.A. Her fields of specialization are chemical synthesis of nanoparticles metals and alloys graphene materials for renewable energy applications especially anode materials for high performance lithium-ion batteries and materials characterization by XRD and electron microscopy techniques. She has professional experience as visiting researcher at Chemical Technology Division, Argonne National Laboratory, Illinois, USA and Chemical Department, Imperial College, London, UK. She has published 71 international papers and co-authors 3 chapters in 1 published book.
