Jiawei Yan is currently a Professor at Xiamen University in China. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in chemistry from Wuhan University and completed his PhD in chemistry at Xiamen University. He has conducted research as a visiting scholar at the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research in Germany, the Technical University of Denmark, and Ecole Normale Supérieure in France. His research group specializes in utilizing scanning tunneling microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and spectroscopy to investigate electrochemistry in ionic liquids and deep eutectic solvents.
