Dai-Ming Tang is a Principal Researcher at Research Center for Materials Nanoarchitectonics (MANA), National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and an Associate Professor at Institute of Pure and Applied Sciences, University of Tsukuba (Collaborative University). He received his B.Sc. in materials science and engineering in Xiangtan University, China in 2004, and his Ph.D. in materials science from Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2010. He joined NIMS as a postdoc researcher in 2010 and was promoted to a permanent researcher in 2015. His research interests include in situ electron microscopy, growth mechanism, fundamental properties, electronic and quantum devices of CNTs and CNT molecular junctions.
