Andrew is head of the WEHI Cryo-EM Facility and, along with Professor Elizabeth Wright from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Co-Chair of the 10th International Congress on Electron Tomography to be held from January 28-30 2025, just prior to APMC. Andrew completed a PhD in Surface Science and Microbiology at the University of New South Wales before postdoctoral positions at the University of Duisburg-Essen and Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, where he trained in cryo- electron tomography. Andrew specialises in high-resolution, non-destructive structural biology and advances in enabling technologies.
